Description

A crew of CNN journalists was chased away from a protest near the police precinct in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as tensions continue following the death of Daunte Wright, on Wednesday.

One protester can be seen arguing with the journalists, saying, "You say that you're doing to tell stories. You don't want to help. How is telling stories going to help?" before asking them to leave. Seconds later, another protester throws an object at them, prompting them to run away.

Protests started after Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, was shot during a traffic stop on Sunday. According to police, the officer intended to use a taser but mistakenly pulled her gun.

Brooklyn Center is right outside Minneapolis where tensions were already high amid the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former police officer charged with killing George Floyd.
