Iranian mechanic Jamshid Nazemi has built incredible replicas of some of the world’s most prestigious cars, as seen in footage captured at his humble workshop in Tehran on Thursday.

After expertly crafting a reproduction of the French classic, the 1931 'Bugatti Royale', Nazemi put his skills to the test and began working on a copy of Bugatti’s 'La Voiture Noire', a stunning 18 million-dollar hypercar that was only ever manufactured once.

“I've been interested in building things since my childhood, I've made many things, but I chose cars because they have a more appealing personality. I've been full-time involved in building cars for five years,” Nazemi explained.

The Tehran-based mechanic added that he and his friend build the cars entirely by hand.

"We manufacture most of the parts, there's nothing ready for a car like Bugatti. They made only one car, and there are no factory parts for it, they make them by themselves because they cannot put a lot of moulds on it because it would be expensive,” Nazemi said.

“We build it and the time it takes is unknown, usually, if we don't have financial problems, we can finish it in one year or two years,” he continued.

Bugatti is a French car manufacturer established in 1909 by an Italian man named Ettore Bugatti in the city of Molsheim.

Bugatti almost disappeared after running into financial trouble at the beginning of World War II but saw a resurgence in 1950.

The brand is now owned by the Volkswagen Group and manufactures high-end luxury sports cars such as the world-famous Bugatti Veyron, one of the fastest road-legal cars in history.
