"The COVID-19 tests are handmade from a marzipan mixture recipe and are given out here," explained Marie-Luise Hamm, an Odenwaelder salesforce representative.
Despite the infection rates still high in Germany and the Omicron wave not tamed yet, the Pro Sweets Fair 2022 took place in Cologne, presenting the best of the world's sweets industry and spiking insulin levels alike.
"The people find it very funny, which is very important during these times and staying positive through it,” added Hamm.
ProSweets Cologne takes place annually in parallel to ISM, the world's leading trade fair for sweets and snacks, and covers the entire value chain of the confectionery industry
