Description

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has visited the army and border guards outside the town of Krynki, next to the Polish- Belarusian border, as footage filmed through Sunday night and the early hours of Monday morning shows.

Morawiecki can be seen observing border technologies and greeting and conversing with soldiers and border guards, as he travelled alongside the border.

Poland has been caught in the midst of a vicious battle between Belarus and the EU, as thousands of migrants and asylum seekers remain trapped at the border shared with Belarus.

Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko has been accused of manufacturing a migrant crisis along its border by encouraging migrants to pass into the EU through Poland, in retaliation to the harsh economic sanctions against his country.
