Sochi's streets were submerged beneath floodwaters on Sunday, following a heavy downpour of rain.

In the microdistrict of Kudepsta, cascades of water were seen rushing down the streets as residents attempted to navigate their way across clearer patches of land.

There are no plans yet to evacuate of civilians.

According to EMERCOM, severe weather conditions are anticipated in the near future.
