Thai Buddhists gathered to honourthe arrival of the year 2022 via some chanting at the Wat Phiphat Mongkhon in Thailand on Saturday.
The worshippers chanted for somewhere between two to four hours long depending on the temple. Attendees gathered to sit and pray and pay respects to Buddhist relics.
This year, the National Office of Buddhism had released 33 prayers with six Metta Bhavanas for all Buddhists to chant accordingly.
The event this year takes place after last year's decision to entirely cancel the ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
