Members of the Yellow Vests activists and other protesters gathered at the entrance to the exhibition hall in Avignon where LREM, French President Emmanuel Macron’s political party, summer event was held on Saturday, to decry the COVID Health Pass and other government policies.
Protesters were seen blocking the entrance to the campus and arguing with drivers trying to enter the event while holding banners bearing messages against the compulsory vaccine mandate.
This is the 12 consecutive Saturday that the Yellow Vest group mobilise to protest against the government.
