Two Germany supporters who had bought tickets for the game before the host country was kicked out of the tournament by Spain showed no sympathy for either team.
"I wish France and Spain would both get out of the tournament today, if possible. If that would be possible. I know it doesn't work but I cannot look forward to this," one of them said.
