Thousands marched in Glasgow, on Friday, in a demonstration led by activist Greta Thunberg as the COP26 climate summit continued.
The march, under the motto ‘COP26 Strike for Climate Justice’, called on world leaders to take the necessary measures to stem the climate crisis.
The protest has been called by the Fridays for Future activists as part of efforts to reach an agreement on how to tackle climate change. Leaders from around the world, alongside business and civic representatives, are arriving in Scotland for 12 days of talks to create collaboration between governments, businesses and civil society.
