It was a sea of orange as more than 10,000 passionate Dutch fans gathered in the fan-zone in downtown Valenciennes on Saturday, to cheer their national team as Netherlands take on Cameroon in a contest where a win for the Dutch side will seal a spot in the last 16 with a game to spare.

Setting up an electrifying atmosphere, fans wearing orange took over the city center and were seen dancing, singing and waving Dutch flags to the sound of traditional songs, before marching towards the Stade du Hainaut.

The Valenciennes stadium seats around 25,000 spectators and is reportedly sold out as European champions, Netherlands take on Cameroon in FIFA Women's World Cup 2019.
