American rapper Snoop Dogg was seen carrying the Olympic torch during the last moments of the long-running relay in Paris on Friday, hours before the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.
Footage shows the musician running with the torch as well as waving to dozens of people who came to see him.
"It's really a great pleasure. We see him next on TV; we're used to seeing him on video clips, and we've been lucky enough to see him in real life. It's a great pleasure," said one of the event attendees.
The torch relay began in Greece in April and has travelled throughout France in the run-up to the Games.
The Olympic Games take place from July 26 to August 11 followed by the Paralympic games from August 28 to September 8. The Opening Ceremony is on the River Seine on Friday evening.
