Trucks, cars and in some cases tractors could be seen in the city centre decorated with Canadian and Dutch flags, while police officers took drivers' personal details or guarded the protest.
“They show what can happen if you all just say “it is enough” and start to stand up," said Kim, a protester.
The protesters gathered under the slogan 'Freedom Convoy Netherlands 2022', following the example of Canadian truckers, demanding human rights and a change in COVID policy.
