Sir David Attenborough delivered a video message on climate change and nature to the Group of 7 leaders in Carbis Bay on Sunday as the world leaders are speculated to tackle climate change with strict measures.

"We are on the verge of destabilising the entire planet," warned the natural historian. "The decisions we make this decade, in particular, the decisions made by the most economically advanced nations are the most important in human history," he told leaders in his recorded message.

The United Kingdom is hosting the 47th G7 Leaders’ Summit 2021 in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, which is set to conclude on Sunday.

Leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) consisting of Germany, Italy, France, the UK, Japan, the US and Canada, along with EU representatives and leaders from guest countries including Australia, India, South Africa, and South Korea are attending the last day of the annual summit to focus on global issues and policies.

The US held the G7 Presidency in 2020 but did not convene a Leaders' Summit due to the global pandemic. For this edition, the UK aims to unite members and guests to discuss the post-pandemic recovery and environmental policies for the future.
