00:49German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and UK Foreign Secretary Lord David Cameron were both seen meeting and holding talks separately with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Wednesday.
Footage shows the two diplomats shaking hands with the PM and sitting for discussions with their respective delegations.
They were expected to discuss Netanyahu's pledge to hit back at Iran following last weekend's large-scale strikes on Israel - which Tehran claimed were a response to the airstrike on its Damascus consulate earlier this month. Israel has not claimed responsibility for that earlier attack.
However, while Israel's allies have warned against further action against Iran, Netanyahu was quoted following the meeting as sayings: "they also have all kinds of suggestions and advice, I appreciate it, but I want to make it clear - we will make our own decisions, and the State of Israel will do everything necessary to defend itself."
According to reports, Cameron said any response should be 'smart' and limited. The foreign secretary himself was taken to task during a TV interview on Tuesday after claiming that Iran's own attack was 'reckless and dangerous' but that the UK would also take 'very strong action' if its own consulate was attacked.
