Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a press conference following a working visit to Kazakhstan in Astana on Friday that all mobilisation measures will be completed within about two weeks.

"As of now, 222 thousand people have been mobilised. No additional mobilisation actions are planned. There is no need for them. I think that within two weeks all mobilisation actions will be completed," the president said.

The Russian leader arrived at a two-day official visit to Kazakhstan. Earlier, Putin held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, as well as with Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov, Tadjikistan's President Emomali Rakhmon and Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev.

The Russian leader also attended the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), the meeting of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) Council of Heads of State and the Russia-Central Asia Summit.
