Widespread flooding of the River Danube was seen in Budapest on Wednesday, after heavy rains hit central and eastern Europe.
Footage shows the waters around the Hungarian parliament, as well as the swollen river and flooding in other parts of the city, including a park.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the defence efforts were in their most challenging phase
“This period is the hardest part," he said. "It will last for about a week or eight days from today."
According to reports the level of the Danube is set to peak on Saturday.
Storm Boris has caused widespread damage, claiming at least 24 lives across Europe. Tens of thousands of people were evacuated across Poland, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
