Footage shows Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi sitting to the left of the summit's host, French President Emmanuel Macron.

President of the World Bank David Malpass and the President of the African Development Bank Akinwumi Adesina were also present at the meeting.

The G7 summit runs until August 26; and will see world leaders discuss topics including tackling global inequality, the US-China trade dispute, the Hong Kong protests and the climate crisis.
