Description

Hong Kong police moved into the city's Polytechnic University on Thursday, in search for dangerous items and to collect evidence after the campus was occupied by protesters and under siege since 17 November.

Footage shows police officers from different sections and fire fighters on the campus premises, inspecting what the anti-government protesters left behind, as well as entering the building to evacuate any remaining protesters.

Hong Kong has been rocked by protests sparked by the now-withdrawn extradition bill since March. The rallies have since evolved into a wider movement against the government, marked by violent clashes between protesters and the authorities.
