Iranian Judiciary Chief and President-elect Ebrahim Raisi firmly stated that he would not meet with US President Joe Biden, during his first press conference in Tehran on Monday.
When questioned whether he would meet the US president if sanctions were lifted, Raisi answered succinctly with "no," urging the US to "act promptly on its commitments, lift all sanctions, and show its honesty by lifting the sanctions."
"Come back and fulfil your commitment," he stated, whilst urging European leaders "not to be influenced by the pressures and foreign policies of the Americans. And fulfil your obligations in JCPOA."
Raisi also said that Iran 'will always support the oppressed' Palestine.
Judiciary head and conservative cleric Raisi won the Islamic Republic presidential election amid a voter turnout rate of 48.8 percent on Friday.
