Description

German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited some of the areas which have been badly affected by floods in Western Germany on Sunday. On this occasion, she also went to Schlud and took part in a press conference in Adenau on the same day, where she met with Minister-President of Rhineland-Palatinate Malu Dreyer.

While Dreyer was talking about the situation and explaining that "Neuenahr-Ahrweiler has to be evacuated because there is no more electricity and no water," Angela Merkel, visibly irritated by a Bild journalist's interruption, asked her 'to listen'.

"May I ask the lady from the Bild newspaper...Hello, can you please listen? Could you please listen to what the minister-president has to say and make an interview afterwards," Merkel asked the Bild journalist. "That would be great, so that we can hear what Mrs Dreyer is saying," Merkel added.
