One day after conservative cleric Ebrahim Raisi was announced as the winner of the Iran presidential election, Tehran said all necessary documents to revive its nuclear deal were ready.

"We are now closer to an agreement than ever before. But bridging the gap between us and the agreement is not an easy task and requires decisions that must be mostly made by the other parties," said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyed Abbas Araghchi who acts as Iran envoy in Vienna talks aiming to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

"We are now in a situation where we think almost all the agreement documents are prepared," added the lead nuclear negotiator after talks between sides on Sunday.

The last meeting of the 6th round of the Joint Commission meeting of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was held in Grand Hotel Wien in Vienna on Sunday in presence of delegations of Iran and P4+1 (Germany, France, Russia, China, and the UK).

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Secretary-General of European Union (EU) Foreign Action Service Enrique Mora and Araghchi headed the Iranian negotiation team.
