Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi addressed the attending world leaders at the G20 Summit in Rome on Saturday.
"The pandemic has kept us apart, as it did with all our citizens. And even before, we faced protectionism, unilateralism, nationalism. But the more we go with all our challenges, the more it is clear that multilateralism is the best answer to the problems we face today," said Draghi.
The summit is the final stage, at the leaders’ level, of the G20 process where traditionally ministers of Economy and Finance also take part in the event.
The agenda under the Italian presidency rests upon three main pillars: People, Planet, Prosperity.
