٠٠:٠١:٠٢Members of the 5+5 Libyan Joint Military Commission met in Geneva on Tuesday, as UN-sponsored talks continued for the second day in the Swiss city.
Five senior military officials from General Khalifa Haftar's Libyan National Army (LNA) and five counterparts from the UN-recognised Government of National Accord (GNA), are expected to continue talks throughout the week in an attempt to secure the ceasefire brokered by Turkey and Russia.
The talks were proposed by world leaders at the Berlin peace conference earlier in January and the parties are also expected to discuss the EU proposal to provide ceasefire monitors.
