Fans were seen gathered in Helsinki's Market Square waving lit flares.

Eriksen collapsed on the pitch on the 43rd minute of the game between the Danes and Finland on Saturday.

Danish national team doctor, Morten Boesen, said that Eriksen was treated for around 10 minutes as well as with a defibrillator charge after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest before being carried away from the pitch. The Danish midfielder is stable and now recovering in a Copenhagen hospital.
