Financial experts spoke about the future of Bitcoin in Germany at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Monday, after German stock exchange operator Deutsche Boerse was said to be considering the launch of Bitcoin futures last week.
“Nobody can say when will this bubble burst, but it is sure that it will, because the technical suitability of Bitcoins, as a general valid currency, will not happen”, explained Baader Bank financial expert Robert Halver.
“This is definitely a speculation object, but I cannot say if it is a recommendable investment,” added ICF Bank financial specialist Artur Brunner.
Germany is analysing the impact of cryptocurrencies on markets, which would make Germany the first European country to provide futures for Bitcoin.
