Russian and Indian Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar held a meeting on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on Saturday.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed "bilateral issues on the development of agreements between the leaders of the two countries [reached] during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, as well as some regional and international problems.
"They stressed a firm attitude toward strengthening bilateral cooperation on the whole range of issues of mutual interest," the ministry said.
