"The scene has become evident that when we completely abandon legal, moral, and humanitarian constraints, the law of the jungle will prevail in which brutality is displayed, represented by attacking civilians and above all children," Lebanese MP Melhem Khalaf added.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the attack resulted in the deaths of five, with 70 others wounded. Most of the injured have since been discharged from hospitals after receiving treatment.
The IDF stated that the airstrike was aimed at Fouad Shukr, known as 'Hajj Mohsen,' described as "the highest-ranking military commander in Hezbollah and an advisor to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah."
