"The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically impacted progresses made on poverty, food security and the achievement of sustainable development goals in developing countries, increasing finance needs while reducing available resources. While these problems persist, the G20 has taken important steps to support sustainable global recovery for all," stated Draghi.
Earlier this weekend, Draghi told the G20 countries to work on ensuring that 70 percent of the world population get a vaccine against COVID-19 by mid-2022 in another attempt to limit the impact of the pandemic.
