    London Mayor Sadiq Khan held talks with European Parliament (EP) President David Sassoli during his visit to Brussels on Tuesday.

    Khan's visit to the Belgian capital comes as he pushes the plan for a so-called 'associate citizenship' with the EU, which would allow UK citizens to retain some EU rights after Brexit, including free movement between member states.

    Khan also reportedly met with EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier.
