Biden had flown in from Brussels where he had taken part in a EU-US summit.
Biden will meet Putin at the 18th-century Villa La Grange located in the south of Geneva.
On Wednesday the estate will host the two leaders’ first summit after Biden’s inauguration in 2021. They met previously when Biden was served as vice president in the Obama administration 10 years ago.
