An armed man fired several shots after being chased down a street in Kenosha on Tuesday night, as unrest continued in the Wisconsin city for a third day.
Footage shows the man running from a group of people, who appear to be unarmed, before falling to the ground and firing multiple gunshots. One of those who chased him can then be seen falling to the ground apparently injured, while others flee the scene.
The shooter could then be seen proceeding up the street towards police vehicles, as a bystander shouts that "he just shot them." Police officers did not appear to detain the man in the footage.
Police have confirmed that two people died, while another was hospitalised with injuries, after gunshots were fired during the night's protests.
Kenosha has become the latest hotspot of protests against racism and police brutality after a 29-year-old black man identified as Jacob Blake was shot several times in the back by officers on Sunday. Blake is reported to be paralysed, with doctors unsure if he will recover the use of his legs.
Update: Police have arrested the gunman seen in the footage and charged him with first degree intentional homicide in connection with the deadly shootings in Kenosha. He has been identified as 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse.
