Description

Crowds of Trump supporters gathered for a 'Defend Democracy Rally' in Washington DC, on Sunday, a day after the Million MAGA March attended by thousands attended.

Protesters donned 'Make America Great Again' caps and chanted 'We love Trump.' The protest was named #WalkAway DC Defend Democracy Rally.

Speaking to those gathered, conservative activist CJ Pearson, "America is a nation founded upon the ideals of liberty and freedom, and now more than ever has that not been under more direct attack than the idea that Joe Biden could ever be president of the United States. I will not allow it to happen, and the patriots in this room today will not allow it to happen."

Protesters believe the presidential election was stolen as US President Donald Trump has made repeated allegations of voter fraud on Twitter and during a press conference following the November 3 elections. His legal teams have launched a series of court cases in an attempt to overturn the results, though no viable evidence has yet been provided for these claims. Trump has yet to concede the election to former Vice-President Joe Biden.
