Delegations from Iran and Ukraine held their second round of talks in Tehran on Monday to discuss the amount of compensation for those who died on Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752.

The meeting was held at the Institute for Political and International Studies and attended by the head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organisation as well as delegates from Ukraine.

The first round of talks took place in Ukraine last August.

On January 8, shortly after taking off from Khomeini airport in Tehran, the Boeing-737 of Ukrainian International Airlines (UAI) with 176 passengers on board was shot down mistakenly by Iran's armed forces.

On January 11, Iran confirmed that armed forces of the republic "unintentionally" downed the passenger jet.

All 176 people on board of the plane, including passengers and crew members, died.
