"President Rouhani said this morning that he's ready to meet with leaders of governments if this is useful to resolve issues, this is progress. President Trump has also said that he's ready to meet him when all conditions are met," said Macron.
"It is indeed the beginning of something that will allow the meeting to happen, this means there was a lot of work and sanctions undeniably had an effect, so a lot of work was done," he added.
