"We saw you climb towards the fire, risking your lives. I want to tell you here of our infinite gratitude, our eternal appreciation," said Anne Hidalgo, the Parisian mayor.
The event included a Bach violin concert and readings from Victor Hugo's 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame.'
