٠٠:٠٢:٤٨Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and African leaders held a news conference at the closure of the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) in Yokohama on Friday.
Abe stressed that Japan will continue to be open for young Africans to come and study.
"For the next six years, as three thousand or so young people become agricultural and tech extension officers we would like them to become a future bridge between Japan and Africa. We would like to emphasise education and training of these people, who are the future of Africa. The African people are hoping to make this a reality, and that is what the TICAD is for," said Japan's Prime Minister.
Earlier during the conference, Abe pledged to provide fiscal training to thirty African countries over the next three years.
