٠٠:٠١:٥١Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi shared a meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Rome on Saturday.
Lavrov noted the unprecedented level of relations between the countries.
"Our contacts are very, very intense. This reflects an unprecedented high and qualitative level of relations between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China. The tasks set for us by our leaders are being implemented at all levels of government and are reflected and positively responded to in civil society," Lavrov said.
In addition, the Russian Foreign Minister said during the talks that the 26th meeting of the Russian and Chinese heads of government would be held before the end of the year. It will be preceded by meetings of five relevant intergovernmental commissions.
"I think it will be a serious contribution of the economic blocs of our governments to the preparation of the next summit," concluded Lavrov.
