03:32German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited some of the areas which have been badly affected by floods in Western Germany on Sunday, including Schuld, where she met with Minister President of Rhineland-Palatinate Malu Dreyer and Mayor of Schuld Helmut Lussi.
Merkel alongside Dreyer and Lussi, surrounded by a number of other local officials and escorted by the police visited different areas of the town, where the worst consequences of the flooding could be seen.
During their route, the group also visited and talked to ambulance and security workers, firemen and local residents whose houses and belongings were destroyed by the flood.
