    Thousands of fans from the USA and England gathered in downtown Lyon before heading to the Olympique Lyonnais stadium on Tuesday to support their teams battling in the semi-final of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

    Footage shows England fans wearing lioness masks and US fans dressed in a variety of outfits from Wonder Woman to Lady Liberty.

    According to World Cup organisers, fans from the USA bought 100,000 of the 1.05 million tickets sold for the tournament so far.
