White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki expressed 'outrage' at a rocket attack on a US airbase in Erbil, on Monday, which killed a civilian contractor and injured nine other people. Psaki was speaking at the White House in Washington DC on Tuesday.

"We are outraged by last night's rocket attack in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. Initial reports indicate that the attacks killed one civilian contractor and injured several members of the coalition, including one American service member and several American contractors. And we offer our condolences to the loved ones of the civilian contractor killed," said Psaki.

During the same briefing, the press secretary called Nord Stream 2, the gas pipeline from Russia to Germany, a 'bad deal', discussed US President Joe Biden's policy on gun safety, and relations with Israel.
