Description

The jury found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts, concluding the homicide trial in Kenosha, on Friday.

Rittenhouse was seen reacting to the verdict, appearing to collapse in his chair as the final 'not guilty' announcement came.

He faced multiple homicide charges for shooting and killing two protesters and injuring a third, during demonstrations against police brutality in Kenosha in 2020.

The then 17-year-old’s attorneys argued he acted in self-defense, after going to the protest armed with an AR-15 to provide first aid. Rittenhouse fatally shot Kenosha resident Joseph Rosenbaum during an altercation. Following the first shooting, two demonstrators pursued and were shot by Rittenhouse.
