A giant 'Black Lives Matter' mural was painted on the road leading to San Francisco City Hall on Friday, with people seen taking pictures of the letters, Sunday.
The city joined Oakland, Sacramento, Seattle, and Washington, DC where the same murals had been painted earlier.
Giant yellow letters were painted on Fulton Street, with people posing for pictures standing next to it. A small makeshift memorial for George Floyd, black American who died at the hands of police on May 25, was also seen set nearby.
The mural is part of anti-racist protests that have been taking place in the US and around the world since the death of 46-year-old Floyd during his arrest in Minneapolis.
