Resuming nuclear talks in Vienna and accepting the reality of the Taliban role in Afghanistan were high on the agenda as Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian addressed the reporters in Tehran on Wednesday.
“We have to accept that the Taliban today form the governing body in Afghanistan in reality," said the Iranian Foreign Minister after concluding talks with Afghanistan's neighbouring countries delegations.
Amir-Abdollahian also discussed the preeminence of resuming talks centring on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in Vienna.
