Images of the capital's Rigshospitalet hospital where the Danish midfielder was taken were seen following his admission.

UEFA announced that Eriksen was in stable condition following the incident which took place during the first-half of the game.

The Danish football federation meanwhile announced that Eriksen was 'awake' and undergoing further examinations.

The match was suspended for over 90 minutes and resumed only after players on both sides agreed to a continuation. Finland went on to win the match 1-0.
