She stood at the centre of the demo for around ten minutes before making a swift exit, where she was once again followed by the press until a police cordon blocked off an alleyway and let her leave.
The 18-year-old Swede is in the UK ahead of COP26 in Glasgow, although she said she has not received a formal invitation to address the climate conference.
