COP27 will be held in Sharm el-Sheik located on the Sinai Peninsula at the Red Sea. "It's my utmost pleasure to express on behalf of the government of Egypt our appreciation to all the delegations for the confidence they have expressed in us to host the next conference of parties in Egypt,” said the Egyptian Minister of environment Yassmine Fouad after the decision was announced.
After Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host COP28.
