A local resident filmed a video of a 'tropical lake' that formed in the centre of Russia's Tyumen city after a downpour.
The footage, dated July 1, shows the man walking in waist-deep water past trees on Shcherbakov Street, jokingly comparing it to Anapa's Cypress Lake.
Local media reported that the depth of the 'reservoir' was around 80 centimetres, and at time of publication the water had already dried up.
According to local residents, the phenomenon has been observed every year for the past 30-40 years, usually after heavy rains. Water also overflows from the 'lake' and floods the right lane of Shcherbakova Street.
