"Thank you for inviting us and welcoming us warmly [despite] your busyness," Kim Jong Un said to the Russian president.
"I'm very glad to see you," Putin replied. "Especially due to such events; 75th anniversary of the establishment of the [Democratic People's] Republic of Korea, 70th anniversary of the victory in the War of Independence (Korean War), 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. So many things. I am very glad to see you."
The DPRK leader arrived in Russia on Tuesday at the invitation of the Russian president.
