For her part, India's W20 representative Sandhya Purecha noted that women in today's world need to evolve in the field of technology, which "is very crucial for their empowerment and for the broader goal of gender parity".
The W20 is an official association of the G20, established in 2015 to promote women's priorities in all areas of the organisation's work.
The IV Eurasian Women's Forum, which takes place in St Petersburg from 18 to 20 September, is the largest international platform for discussing the role of women in modern society.
