The 27th St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) began at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Centre in the Russian city on Wednesday.
Footage showcases colourful stands representing Russian regions and various companies, featuring unique attractions such as talking robots, a family tree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and a virtual projection of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.
During the forum, the new Lada Iskra car was unveiled, with production scheduled to commence in 2025.
SPIEF 2024, held from June 5-8, is expected to attract over 17,000 people from across 136 countries.
The forum has been an annual event since 1997. Since 2005, it has been held under the patronage, and with the participation, of the president of the Russian Federation.
